In one of my favourite books, Demian by Herman Esse, he wrote that the egg is the world; "the bird fights its way out of the egg. Who would be born must destroy first one world". It's the right time for blossoms and trees in bloom. Even in the big cities where buildings and cement prevail, no one can pass beside a blooming tree without have a fleeting glance at it. And, of course, not all of them are cherries! When I started my journey to photography I had this strange belief that every tree with beautiful pink or white blossoms has to be cherry tree! I was quite ignorant of nature and flowers back then ...

Tartan is in its highs and surely in the Christmas period red tartan will prevail not only decoration, but also in clothes. And, no matter how versatile it can be, I'm still feeling more comfortable with its black and white version. I think that is more easily and safely combined. Found in everything from coats and shirts to skirts and pants, monochrome tartans can be proved ideal for winter comfy and street style outfits so to my taste.
