I love vintage and I love paper crafts for many reasons that I've written before. I guess that if my three years-old son become older, maybe I will start making again more complex DIY. But, for now and for the shake of our house [...☺!!!], I stay in this level of easy and quick creations. Yet, I hope to find them "worthy" to make, as they are simple and cheap anyway  !!!

Yesterday, super Zina from the beautiful blog, Ef Zin Creations, published my new guest post: "How to make this beautiful DIY Vintage Paper Pumpkin". Just follow the link below to read more:

Thank you again Zina for your hearty hospitality !!! It's always such a pleasure and fun to make things together !!! You can also find her in her amazing Etsy store with fabulous jewelry and in her facebook page !!! Happy Saturday to all ☺ !!!

Black & white tartan and four ideas to wear it ...

Tartan is in its highs and surely in the Christmas period red tartan will prevail not only decoration, but also in clothes. And, no matter how versatile it can be, I'm still feeling more comfortable with its black and white version. I think that is more easily and safely combined. Found in everything from coats and shirts to skirts and pants, monochrome tartans can be proved ideal for winter comfy and street style outfits so to my taste.

Combat boots and how to wear it ...

After a morning visit to the Zoo, wearing -for one more time- the wrong shoes for the occasion, I decided that the "heels age", even the medium, is definitely over. The truth is that this visit wasn't planned, but it was decided after leaving the house, as our sweet toddler didn't want to nowhere else; neither in the parade for our 28th October National Day nor in the playground, or anywhere else, no matter how many F 16, super pumas and helicopters could see flying above us...

choosing flowers for a bloomed winter garden and balcony [διαλέγοντας φυτά για ανθισμένο χειμωνιάτικο κήπο και μπαλκόνι]

Blooming flowers are not only for spring and summer. Choosing the right flowers can give you a blooming garden and balcony all the year. There are easy to care flowers even for the months of winter: sweet alyssum, calendula, some varieties of roses, mums, crocus chrysanthus, pinks, cyclamens, hyacinth, daffodil, camelia, forsythia, chimonanthus (wintersweet). Most of these flowers are easy growing and tolerant to difficult conditions. They don't have any special requirements in soil and they prefer either shadowy or full light places. For some of them you sow their seeds in early spring and autumn, or through all the year everywhere; in gardens, or rock gardens, in every kind of planter, on the walls or in hanging containers.
